1. Earl's cousin was the PR person for a movie studio and years ago Earl had the opportunity to see the filming of a scene with Ronald Regan. (Lie)
2. Earl flew on an airplane with Governor Regan.
3. Earl photographed Governor Regan in his private office for a newspaper.

Happy & Sad
Cindy Eklund - Facebook account has been hacked from someone in China. Has to open a new account on Facebook, if you get friend request it is really Cindy.
Lori McIntosh - Happy -bought horse a few years ago, he is almost 5, rode him at Hidden Falls, he was great, and the day was amazing.
Al Lombardo - Happy/Grateful - Grandson who is autistic took off running from store, they chased after him and called sheriff, the sheriff sent up helicopters and found him 2 miles away attempting to cross a freeway.
Dennis Bennett - Betty's Father passed away this morning, vey peacefully.
Linda Maeding - Happy - Grandson tore his achilleas a few years ago, several surgeries that did not go well. Had emergency surgery this week, saved his achilleas and his leg.
Steve Galyardt - Happy - Thank you to those who contributed to the raffle that his table won last week. He was asked to spin. :)
Liza Stefani - Happy for team that went to state championship for 4h. Both groups came in 4th.

California's Wildfire Problem
Contributors include changing climate and overgrown forests.
Population growth increases human ignitions. 95% of fires are started by human interaction, essentially meaning they are preventable.
We do have a strategy, we have doubled in size our people, helicopters, including Black Hawk's that have more capacity and can fly at night, camera systems throughout the state vs. what was previously look out towers. Most fires are detected by cameras vs. phone calls.
58% of California is forested land, 40% of the entire state is public land.
Community level support included Fire Wise Community's.
Updated building codes to include community resiliency.
