Past-President, Bart O'Brien, will run the meeting next week while Carolyn is in Hawaii. The speaker will be an executive from Google.

April 8th will be We Give Club Assembly.
From the Board Meeting this morning: The Club has achieved Every Rotarian Every Year status, we have received 30 scholarship applications, and the RYLA and REGL application period is open.
There is a need for someone to handle the weekly club meeting duty signups next fiscal year - thank you Lori Tomkins for volunteering!
Nick Willick- This Old House Project (picture above) will help a disabled veteran, Jason. He suffered a traumatic brain injury in Desert Storm and is unable to go outside in the daylight. Project tasks will include trash removal, landscaping, house painting. On April 4th Gina's Oasis Landscaping will have a crew working on removing privets. Linda will coordinate the Rotary check-in of Rotarians to help with the landscaping. More info to follow. Every weekend in April will have work crew opportunities.
Dan Gustavson - April 5th is our golf tournament. Signups are starting to come in. Please share with your friends. Black Oak is a fun course. There will be music, food, putts for polio with prizes. Lunch for everyone, even non-golfers! Pay by Venmo or check in advance. Signup: Golfauburnrotary@gmail.com.

On April 8th Gina Acia will collect items for the Interact closet at Placer High School. They are in need of specific items - look for an email from Gina with the list.

The annual Student & Teacher Award Program, coordinated by Liza and Jonathan Stefani, will be on May 1st at 6 PM. Details to follow.

Peter Konrad gave $100 to the Foundation for the band that played at the Tahoe Club band. Peter also did a model of the snazzy move by bandmember Preston Marx.

The pot was $53 given the recent win but will continue to build as John Donlevy did not pick the black marble.

Poignant note: Betty was inspired to volunteer to coordinate the contest this year in honor of her mom who passed last year and was a life-long musician.
Funny note: Betty assured the contestants that Al was not bored as he falls asleep at any moment. ;) Al was a good sport!
