Thursday 4/30 at 1:30 pm Book Buddies will meet at Auburn Elementary School with our last book and letter with our 21 3rd graders. Of the 21 kids, only 4 really have an adult in their life to talk to them regularly, so our interaction is very important for them.
Bobbi Allen – Update on Vickie Winkler. She has been moved to a Skilled Nursing Facility for physical therapy and IV antibiotics. Rehab is going very well and they are asking Vickie to slow down!
If this SNF stay was only for strength and PT, she could go home today. But her low hemoglobin and the IV antibiotics are what is keeping her in rehab for an unknown period, possible 2-4 weeks. Vickie has asked for a consult to discuss the long term plan. If interested in writing her, she is in Lee Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, Room 2311, 2776 Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers, Florida 33901
