President Bob gave a Special Award to Brandee Ambrosia for a wonderful job working with the interact club. Brandee has also been working with the other clubs in town on multi-club and multi-year grants. These grants will save money and allow for planning community services projects three years out. Brandee is a magnificent leader and now is crowned Queen of grants!

Will be held in Auburn. See her email for details.
Bill Radakovitz: Festival of Lights needs volunteers at the upper fairgrounds parking lot to direct floats at the end of the parade. Email Kahl if you can help. Saturday, December 2.
Natti a 2012-13 RYE student from Brazil is visiting and gave us a brief update. She spent her Junior year at Placer High then finished in Brazil. After two years she went to medical school, graduated and is now a practicing doctor. She so enjoyed her time in Auburn and met so many nice people. RYE started her addiction to travel. Natti is looking into a residency program in the US. She closed with thanking us for a wonderful experience.
Raffle (Rachel Kanowsky): $ 283 - no winner this week.
Program: Peter Konrad
Peter introduced us to Performance Software for the Mind.
Created 42 years ago when he was training reps and noticed if they had problems at home they couldn’t work effectively. He went to Colorado for training in understanding the importance of the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is like a warehouse with floor to ceiling shelves that store all you have seen, heard and done. Peter gave us examples of how it is used in parenting to give a child the moral reason to do or not do something.
Beliefs are filters for reality. We don’t see the world as it really is because we are seeing it through the filter of our mind. We are not simply products of our environment. The same boiling water that softens a potato hardens the egg.
Peter when on to show us how our left and right sides of our brain are the most powerful when connected. If you cross your limbs, you are connecting both sides of your brain. They call it a Cook’s hook up after the physician who determined the impact on the body. Like in the MASH show the limbs were crossed on the incoming wounded to reduce bleeding.
If you are not thinking with your whole brain, then it becomes negative. It is best to keep a whole brain posture. Muscle testing can reflect what your mind really believes.
- Like…Dislike stress detector
- True…False detector of Subconscious Truths
- Yes…No Communications system.
Kathryn, Heather, Dennis, and Nancy B. were volunteers in muscle testing the subconscious mind impact with Peter.
There are 45 second exercises to turn around the subconscious mind. Sit for 45 seconds with ankles, wrists and fingers crossed to bring the subconscious to a positive place. You can turn around anything in your life that’s a hurdle by changing negative to positive.
