Nick spoke about "This Old House" Said it was very successful and took 1 1/2 days to complete. The cleaned the roof, patched eth adobe, painted two colors and the trim. Cut up a fallen tree and took it to the dump, and cleaned and repaired the guitars, and water blasted the house. The elderly home owner was very thankful and had her faith renewed in people's kindness. About dozen people helped including family members and 4H Club members.

Richard Hall spoke of the Student/Teacher Awards on May 18th in the evening: Great evening with about 100 people attending to see 32 students and teachers from elementary through high school awarded recognition with plaques and monetary gifts.

Kahl advised that there will be a signup sheet to help with the Beer Booth at ARD 75th Anniversary Celebration on June 17.
Linda Maeding announced Rod's Demotion Party will be on June 16th at 6 PM at Ceronix. The cost is $35 and everyone is asked to wear blue and yellow in honor of President Rod's alma mater Cal Berkley. Signups are on Club Runner or let Linda know. Money needs to be in by June 13th please.
Catherine McGregor gave $100 to the Foundation as she was advised that when she wore her Paul Harris Pin that it wasn't a Rotary Pin as there are those who receive PH that are not Rotarians.
John Donlevy spoke of the Rotary Barbecue which is September 23rd. If you haven't been contacted to help, you will be. So try to figure out where you best feel you can serve. It is our biggest fundraiser.
Vickie Winkler spoke of the Heart Celebration of her 23 years of service. It was sold out so it was well attended. Their fundraiser ran a little short so if you want to donate towards this outreach you can go to www.africaheart.com and go to the donate button.
John Fink was happy to announce that he has been asked to be on the District Grants Committee for the next Rotary year. Congratulations, John. They are lucky to have you,
Cindy Eklund had happy bucks at they attended their #3 grandson's high school graduation which he completed in 3 years. He plans on attending Sierra College to get the basics out of the way and then go for Bachelors in Hydroelectric Engineering.
Linda Maeding had happy bucks for the amazing job done by the Stefani's along with Richard Hall, Gary Ransom, Jeff Small and the 4H Club for the Student/Teacher Awards.
Don Whitaker had happy bucks as he heard from Vickie Winkler that the two wells our Rotary Clubs did in Kenya a while back are still working.
Bob Dunstan had happy bucks as he had a daughter married 3 weeks ago. This is the third wedding in 10 months for his family.
Lori McIntosh had happy bucks are her and her husband celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary in Hawaii. They did a great deal of fun things in the constant rain.
Steve and Jane are planning on a trip to Kenya for HEART so if you would like to attend with them. let them know.
Steve also announced that the Elks Lodge Chef is retiring He asked for donations in a show of gratitude.
