Bill Radakovitz Festival of Lights December 3rd at 3 PM. Volunteers needed. Many Rotarians signed up, which is great, but we need more, so please call Bill if you want to help.
Please pay your dues and BBQ ticket money as soon as possible. These funds are what makes this place run! You can take care of it today by check, square or Venmo.
Bill Radakovitz announced the Children's Christmas Faire of December 8th. It will be held during the day at the Fairgrounds. This is an annual event that many of us have helped with, and we look to have as many of you as possible sign up. Be sure and call Bill to sign up for the times.
Betty read a special note from Kim McClintock Kim was watching from Zoom as she is going through her first chemo treatment of 16 today. She thanked us all for our prayers and acts of encouragement. She plans on kicking cancer to the curb.
Betty thanked the Bookers for having our RYE student, Max, stay with them. Max will be going to the Zairkowski's next.
Al Lombardo thanked the Garrison's for hosting a wonderful whiskey tasting event at their lovely home.
Jeff Ambrosia announced that there will be a planning meeting for our next Brewfest Event to be held on Saturday, May 6th, will be at the Canyon View Community Center at 5;30 on Tuesday, the 29th. He figures if he can be there even if it is his 30th Wedding Anniversary, we all can be there too helping out,
President Rodney shared that we still need more Salvation Army Bell ringers so be sure and sign up with Lori Tompkins email on times and hours on either December 3rd or 10th. ot, He also said we need more blood donors for the Blood Drive of December 14th at Canyon View Center Community Center from 10:00 to 2:30. Sherry Gilbert announced the Adopt a Family Program this year with Cindy Eklund.
Linda Maeding announced that our Rotary Christmas Dinner has 90 signed up to come, which is the maximum we can have attend due to space limitations. Everyone must have their money in by next Tuesday, the 29th. Please be sure and do this. We have a waiting list of those who would like to come. You can pay with cash, check, Venmo or square which Lori Tompkins has available to process your purchase.

Steve Grundmeier reminded us that December 6th the author of Phantom will be our speaker and it would be great if we all read the book before then.
Carolyn Metzker, aka Ebbie Scrooge, from the Rotary Christmas Club Play shared with the club, that she is the richest person in the universe. She shared how important money is no matter how you get it. She will be featured at our celebration on December 8th. Don't miss the fun. Sharon, the fabulous Rotary Christmas Sponsor Chairperson, had a contest to which table could say what number is higher than Ebbie's duodecillion. Bridget's table guessed the right answer which is sexdecillion which is 1 X 10 to the 57th power. (Who needs that much money? I can't even pronounce it). WE also viewed a newsreel with Newscaster Steve Grundmeier who interviewed a relative of Ebenezer Scrooge claiming defamation of her long lost relative by the Auburn Rotary club. More to be reported at a later date.
