Bill Kinney – Membership Chair for Gold Country Rotary. Thanked Gary Ransom for leading a hike this past weekend for that club. Encouraged everyone to attend the End Polio function tomorrow: Group photo followed by fellowship at Old Town Pizza at the Fairgrounds, starting 5 pm at the upper fairgrounds entrance. President Bob stated he will buy a beer for everyone from our club who shows up.
Cindy Eklund – Card being circulated today for Linda Maeding, who recently lost her father.
President Bob – the next “clothing optional” day for the club is next week, Halloween 10/31
Nick Willick – recap of This Old House project this past weekend. Thanked Gina Acia for her landscaping supervision and bringing equipment. Nancy Bender, last year's exchange student, Dennis Bennet. Big hand for Nick Willick, per President Bob. Bob Dunston, Steve Grundmeier, Bart Ruud, Jeff Ambrosia, Brandee Ambrosia acknowledged for her painting skill. Catherine McGregor and husband Jim. Carolyn Metzger hosted lunch, prepared by Nancy Bender and Jane Grundmeier. Pres. Bob thanked Gina and Carolyn, then had all who worked on the project stand up for a round of applause

Bill Radakovich – sign up sheet going around for the Festival of Lights Parade. Help needed at the endof the parade at the fairgrounds. First Saturday in December, Dec. 2nd this year.
Katherine McGregor – update on Steve Snyder. Says he feels wonderful and is doing great. Had a great time holding hands with Ron Martinez in pre-op and post-op
Happy/Sad Bucks:
Ron Martinez - $20 happy bucks for modern medicine and quality of the staff at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital unparalelled. Slide show coming titled “Ron and Steve's Great Adventure” about their day at Auburn Faith.
Don't Shirt on Me:
Monique Hall was chosen. She paid $10 for her shirt which reads: “The answer may not be at the beach. But we should at least check.”
More Happy/Sad Bucks:
Brandee - $10 happy bucks because she is very proud to be in the same club as Nick Willick. We are blessed the he runs the show on This Old House projects.
Bill Radakovich - $1 sad buck because he will not be able to attend our Christmas party. Wife Nancy's Gold Country Rotary club is having their party the same night and wants Bill to go with her.
Also $1 sad buck about the 49's very sad game last night.
Sam Frasier - $5 happy bucks; happy his wife is on Zoom with us today. Much improved health.
Betty Bennett - $10 Happy Bucks x 2: went on hiking and Rogue River rafting trip with her girlfriends and had a great time. When she had phone/internet service again, she found out her dad had had a heart attack. The other $10 happy bucks is that Betty went to Arkansas last week and her dad is doing great.
Bill Johnson – Sad bucks. Went to Canada to visit family and friends and disasters happened. A mountain lion got into his pasture and ate his lama. Then visited a friend while there who was showing him around his small town. The friend fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a tree. Everyone in the car was shaken up, but OK. Then got a call from his daughter who told him that one of his good friends had died very suddenly. His wife told him he should never go away again.
Forrest Eklund - $5 sad bucks. Has worked on a lot of projects with Nick Willick over the years, but feels he let Nick down this year because he just couldn't make it.
Raffle: $177 in the pot. No winner

Liv (Our club's exchange student from Denmark) talked about raising this pig, named LJ for Liv, Jr., named by her host brother.
