The Rotary Club of Auburn participated in Rotarians at Work Day, helping restore some of the Auburn area parks. There were over 40 club members, families, children and members from Placer High Schools Interact club who helped with the projects.
 
The first project was located at the Ashley Dog Park at Ashford Park on Auburn Ravine Rd where we disassembled and rebuilt one shade structure and painted and stained two other structures.
 
Another part of the project was done at the Auburn Recreation Park where we planted 20 new trees to replace the many trees that were previously damaged in storms.
 
Finally, Past President Scott Christensen saw the need of an upgrade to the large sign at the Canyon View Community Center. He took it upon himself with the help of a few others to see that this sign was looking good.
