President Jeff Ambrosia and a group of volunteer Rotarians removing the grass at the Lewis St Park renovation along with Don Robinson
Sand & Gravel with Freed Excavating brining in donated boulders to help make this new Lewis Street Park something Special.

When people ask me "what's Rotary?", sometimes I find it hard to explain it to them. Just telling them its a service club sometimes just doesn't seem to send the message of what Rotary is all about.
However, when Rotary gets involved in projects like the Lewis Street Park Renovation and you see the Rotarians and local businesses coming together to volunteer their time to make our city more beautiful,
"that's ROTARY!".

This is what I like to share with my friends and family members when asked, "what's Rotary?". I click on our website and I show them these photos.

On April 30th at 8:30am, Auburn Rotarians gathered at the Lewis Street Park and worked on the renovation for the new restroom facility as well as a patio space, boulders to climb on, a mosaic river and a location for local artists to display their work and more.

There are several companies that have donated their time, equipment and more to make this renovation possible.
Freed Excavating & Don Robinson Sand & Gravel to just name a couple.
** Special "Thanks" to Paul Ferreira of Don Robinson's S &G for donating the boulders. The largest boulder weighed 22,000 lbs...

We will be sure to name them all once the project is complete.
