Mayor of Auburn

As a lifelong Auburn resident, Amara is a product of Auburn Schools, including Placer High School. She also graduated from USF, obtained her law degree at Lincoln Law School, and has received specialized training in Mediation over the last 10 years. She is currently a Mediator for the State of California dealing primarily with Special Education issues. Sandra and her husband of 41 years have raised 4 children, all of whom attended Auburn schools. She is passionate about promoting Auburn’s future as a vibrant community, and looks forward to her service as a City Council member.
