Happy and Sad Bucks:
Catherine McGreggor – 6 young men from Confluence High School - $10 happy bucks for their success in building a fence around the school garden. This was the first of what will be an ongoing mentorship program from the trades for these young guys.
Bruce Lundberg - Vic Gonella passed away a few days ago. Several years of health struggles ended in his passing. Vic was a great guy and a fellow, long-term Rotarian.
Liza Stefani – she took a group of kids to the Cow Palace for a livestock judging competition and was extremely impressed, inspired and proud of them! Livestock in California – our area won it all.
James Lindsey – happy to be back more regularly moving forward.
Dan Gustavson –His daughter’s golf team participated in a couple of significant golf tournaments recently, some with success, others not so much, but she is playing very well.
Scott Christenson – all the right teams won and all of the wrong teams lost this weekend with Football.
Nancy Nittler - $100 happy bucks to back home after a 4-month travel experience. Happy to see all of you!
Kim McClintock – happy for people covering for her with her Secretarial duties, while she was gone on her trip.
Steve Bender - $20 happy about our club’s first-ever book-buddy meeting at Auburn Elementary. There was a great sense of family and excitement about that future experience with the kids. He was happy to see our club launching this program that his club, Roseville, has been doing for a long time.
Brandee Ambrosia - $5 happy bucks for our three members that have had a long-term absence, Nancy, James, and Kim… glad to have them back and she appreciates how their absence and their return reflects the fluidity of our club as people’s lives go on.
