Member Announcements/Happy & Sad Bucks

  • Catherine McGregor: So grateful for a meaningful and positive holiday party for Stand up Placer residents. Great stories of Interactors and Rotarians contributing from the heart to make the party a time to remember. Aslo appreciated kids like Dan's daughter getting a chance to be mentored through Rotary events like this one.
  • Carolyn Metzker: Oregon Ducks won!
  • Don Yamasaki  has all bell ringing shifts covered this Saturday. Thanks Don for coordinating.
  • Tara happy for how well the Stand up Placer party went and for the memories created for her and son Caden ringing the bell for Salvation Army.
  • Betty Bennett: Shared a great story about Dennis know just the right gift to get for a little girl at the Stand up Placer party. It's a story worth asking her about!
  • Bart O'Brien: Wondering how he is getting a traffic fine from trip to Italy last year when Bob Dunstan was the actual driver. Also wondering why he's only getting $2.50 back from State for a $7,000 insurance bill.
  • Vic Gonnella: Granddaughter won All Tourney Player at basketball tournament. She is fierce on the court!
  • Dan Gustavsen: So happy his daughter got to participate in the Stand up Placer party. Fortunate to live in a town that puts on the Festival of Lights come rain or shine and it remains well attended. Also happy that he could lay claim to ugliest Christmas sweater and the powder was awesome at Sugar Bowl.
  • Al Lombardo: Sad he missed the parade but happy to have spent the week in San Diego with grandkids.
