ANNOUNCEMENTS
Betty Bennett – thanks to those who ordered license plate frames. If you would like to buy one, get in contact with Betty asap, she is ordering them soon.
 
Betty Bennett – We still need 3 more Host families for our incoming exchange students – please see Betty Bennett or Brandee Ambrosia.
 
Bridget – The Ski Tune Up Happy Hour has been postponed to 23 February 5:30 at Bridget’s house. Bring your fellowship and an appetizer to share. 
The Rotary Fellowship Ski day is coming up 4th March. Bridget sent you a message through Club Runner, please reply if you are planning to attend. 
Dan Gustafson has some 50% off ski tickets, get a hold of him if you would like one. 
 
Richard Hall – Veterans Help event coming up soon. 
Placer Stand Down –Free to All Vets and Their Spouses, many medical, health, personal, legal and VA Benefits assistance. May 2 – 5 2022, starting at 8 am the Auburn Gold Country Fairgrounds.
 
 
Linda Maeding  – This year’s the President Demotion party is scheduled for 11 June and is headed by Steve Snyder. 
 
Cindy Ekland - Sam Frazier’s son is skating at the Olympics! You are invited to a watch party to show your support at 3 pm Saturday, 19 February, at Old Town Pizza to watch as a group to celebrate Alex and Alexia as they skate. 
 
Next week’s guest speaker is David Allen, Native sons of The Golden West
 
Scott Christensen  - The Board meeting was today, the board is good, finances are good, membership is pretty good. New protocols, youth protection, masks protocols are almost done. 
 
BIRTHDAYS
Bob Dunstan and Mitch Hanna  got to spin for their birthdays.
 
HAPPY/SAD BUCKS
Bob O’brien – gave $100 for the Rotary Foundation celebrating his trip to Grand Canyon with Bob Dunstan who tolerated his talking though out the long drive.
Steve Snyder gave $ for Dennis Bennett surviving at home while his wife was away
Betty Bennett spent a week with her parents, and returns feeling grateful and wonderful. 
Steve Galyardt –  $ for Betty and her great trip.

Kahl Muscott ARD Administrator – Look What’s Happening at Auburn Recreation District (ARD). Kahl went through an impressive list of some of the projects, facilities, services, events, classes and more offered to support and enrich the Auburn community.
